I can't even remember the last time I used my horn on purpose. From what I have seen on the internet seems like it is often done as a visual enhancement as much as anything. I just wondered where it all started
I like to use it when people don't turn right on red (legal in MI) and enjoy it most when they flip me off and not turn until the light turns green. At that point I wish I had a fog horn after a long day at work and 1.25 hour commute back home.

If you want to attach a miniature air compressor to your car somewhere, you can have the train horn. I think it's too much. The hellatones are quite loud but not at that obnoxious level.
I'm just curious where it all started and when. I see them all over the internet. Based on what I saw I always thought people did them just as much for the appearance, through the grill, as they did for anything.
2006 cobalt ss over 20kpa boost misfire
Jdwaugh1 i seen another thread on misfiring cobalts and you seem very intelligent and id like to speak to you directly about my cobalt ss as it misfires and im trying to get it back to stock. It has a tune on it but id like to get it back to stock settings as it misfires when i press over half throttle and i think its because its a bad tune. I dont know what tune is in it but id like to talk to you. Thank you and if you see this please private e-mail me at zackamartin@hotmail.com and we could talk!

2006 cobalt ss unknown tune misfires when stepping over half throttle or over 20kpa boost. Anyone know what causes this i changed the plugs and it ran unreal until the plugs got fouled right away again due to the misfire. Anyone have any answers?
Hey Zach, start a thread in the problems/service/maintenance (Slowbalt2000 doesn't like it when you get off topic in here) and lay out your symptoms and detail the situations which those symptoms occur. I only know about what I have personally experienced but if we start a thread we have a better chance of narrowing down what it may be as a group effort. Right off the bat I would ask if your plugs come out black consistently across the board or if there is inconsistency between each cylinder. Also post up any and all engine codes (in the new thread) that may be tripped as you should at least have a misfire code.
