Ordered some Road Magnet lowering springs for it! They're running a $25 off special right now for spring time, and I found a coupon code for an extra 10% off. They're originally $250 shipped, I decided to get them powdercoated bright red, to match my car and even after the $30 charge for that, my total came to $227! I definitely couldn't pass up that deal.

Here's the coupon code to those interested: RMOC10
And a link to the product: Lowering Springs | Cobalt lowering springs, chevy cobalt, cobalt SS lowering springs | Roadmagnet

it was a good friend of mine that did it.. so considering that and the fact he cant claim insurance for a couple semi-retarded reasons neither of us could control, and the fact that his car is undriveable as is and needs parts with money he barely has, I'm being nice and listing this as a nice $450 IOU he owes me back in due time (which at this point he's pumped I'm being this nice and chill about it, so wtv it will get squared away)

but for now.. check out the LULZ piktar of the day! Why? Because Racecar. #driftstyle #zipties4lyfe #yewjelly

his car on the other hand wasnt so lucky..

My replacement part list:
repair/repaint rear bumper
simple right? 4x4 cobalt FTW!

His replacement list:
front bumper repair work
hood
hood latch
header panel
headlights
hood struts
hood hinges
windshield
windshield wipers
xm antenna
full front end paint (blending the fenders so the new paint matches well)

this was where it was at yesterday (new windshield is now and replacement header panel is now installed though)

we are going to temporarily be plastidipping a theme over the front bumper scuffs and cracks and the hood/roof/trunk so he can save up for paint in a month or so, so this will be quite the marathon completing in time with working FT around this. hopefully it will end up like this photoshop I did after we do everything along with his rims in plastidip.. not too bad for what it costs

The car got a coolant flush, oil change, and all-wheel alignment.

If it would just stop snowing or raining already I would've given my car a much needed car wash today.

I'd remove my low rise, but I'd hate the holes. Maybe one day...

yeah idk.. i would've always thought I would be more mad too, but mehh its a rather minor fix, nobody was hurt, and in the end of things its just a car (for as much as I love and take care of it). I'm sure I wouldve been much more mad if the car had metal damage, but plastic is whatev's

I stopped in and the rear plastic is getting painted today along with a few other parts I tossed in while he was at it. Leave it to a car modder to improve his car with every accident right
