What's the value of removed parts after a Stage2 install?

Hello.

I'm not a car guy, so I don't know the specifics on what the stock supercharger uses...but I'm looking into having a stage2 kit installed. I know from reading around that the injectors will be replaced, and a smaller pulley system would be used.

I'm hoping someone can give me a rough, estimated value of these [used] removed parts from the stock supercharger, and where I might find a buyer for them (limited to junkyards?).

Thanks for any info.

Not sure about the pulleys, but I know you'll be able to sell the injectors easily. You can plug the injectors from the SC into a 2.2, so somebody with a 2.2 will be interested for sure (me being one of them...shoot me a PM if you decide to sell).

I guess there's a good reason for a lack of a price tag in your post then

I'm assuming there are some available in the buy/sell section then? Maybe I'll have to browse through there (I've spent the last couple of hours looking through other stuff on the forum).

I should mention that this will be a while down the road though...so those parts won't be available for some time

I sold my stock injectors for like $50ish to a buddy with a 2.2. I still have the stock belt and pulley though b/c no one really wanted them at the time. Haven't tried re-listing 'em either. Probably wont get too much for those.

Hold on to em ...... that way you can take the stage kit off if you sell/trade the car. The injector's are the only thing that "MIGHT" sell, and those are a dime a dozen too.

Talking

You're looking at 40 for injectors, 25 for belt, 20 for pulley. That's about it.

Most of us 2.2 guys upgrading to supercharger are going with 42s and the stage 2 pulley right away. In the middle of my supercharger install now.

That's not bad though. If it helps pay for the total cost at all it makes me pretty happy.

I think rukkee is right though...I would get more money out of selling the kit later when I sell the car if I kept the old parts. The only thing about that plan that I'm not sure about is the money I sell the kit for is pretty much negated by the price to have it removed and reflashed back to stock...
