I haven't lowered mine and I was just thinking about how it would look lowered after I washed my car a few min ago. I don't think it looks all that good lowered w/ stock rims.

I'm not touching the ride height on the SS/SC... I already have to crawl around entrances and exits around here... not to mention the 3" deep pot holes around here...

When lowering a car you have to remember to change the bump stops, shocks/struts, caster, camber, and toe to make it truely perform better and properly. I love seeing cars that are slammed to the ground but have done nothing to adjust the alignment. You know the ones where only half the tread touches the ground because the camber is so far out.
If you want to stiffen up the car and reduce body roll, strut bars and sway bars are the way to go.
Also remember that by dropping the rear, to level the car, transfers weight off the drive wheels and will hinder traction when launching.

Too stiff and it will actually prevent the suspension from flexing and the inside wheels can start to lift and reduce grip.
Gran Turismo 3 has a great explination of it in the "Suspension upgrade" menu.
