Why did you buy a 2.4
#28
I didn't want to pay $30k for the LNF, and when I asked the dealership gave me a great deal for a fully (manual trans) loaded one. I've had it for a week now, and cannot wait to open it up. 400 more kms to go! Of course I moved from a 01 Z24, that had become a collection of parts driving in loose formation, so it wasn't hard to impress me.

Well then I guess that's why I got screwed in the color dept. =/ How much do you think it would cost to change the color to arrial blue or even laser blue any other blue besides the 1 I have now?

Gotime because gas mileage was killing me in my truck (01 ram) and this was the only black Balt around that 1. Wasn't beat to hell, 2. Had decent mileage and was still in my price range. Happy I got it though. Fun little car

I grew up with the mindset of "no replacement for displacement".
I like the fact of the VVT, high compression, forged guts, availability to SC it with relative ease, and I've always like the fact that the exhaust note has always had a nice little crackle to it.
Ive been supercharged for about 20K miles on a 2.8 pulley and she sees WOT every day. Runs like a champ and never misses a beat.
Can't wait for the TVS on the 30th

got mine because when we went looking for cars their were no sc's in my price range. i actually found an ss/sc within my price range told the guy to hold it for me and we were gunna come the next day to look at it and most likely buy it. Show up the next day and the ******* sold it i was so pissed so i found my black ss/na at a local dealership for a price i couldnt beat. 13k after all was said and done. i love it and would never look back. although, when i see ss/tc's in person i do drool and get jealous lol

Several reasons
1) I was driving a p.o.s 1990Z24 3spd automatic cavalier
2) I wanted a stick shift car soooooooo badly
3) my Dad told me a cobalt SS came in the dealership with 80,000KM, it was BLACK annnnddd it was a MANUAL!!! and I think the icing on the cake was when he told me it was
$5000 O.T.D!!!
4) the previous owner was some guy who was a computer engineering student who only drove it to univ. on the highway, and apparently he never put it over 4K RPM lol
I know people with boosted cars love to flack the 2.4, but I dont care, I really do love this car, its pretty damn quick in its class, it looks reaaalllyy sharp(hell when I saw it on the lot all hesitation went away ) and the Le5 is a phenomenal engine
