I will give feedback on my automatic sunroof module experience take 2

Hi everyone,

I contacted the guy that was making automatic sunroof module.

He was not very popular last year since he even back on me with a sale but he contacted me 2 days ago and said he has done somes.

I ordered one and he send me a picture with my name and the module...even got a tracking number....

I know it was a popular idea so I will give feedback when I receive it to let you know if you decide if you want to try it.

I'm not related to him, just here to maybe bring feedback on a product that had demand for it.

I saw a guy on youtube that had done this mod to his sedan and I loved it! Just wondering how hard the install would be. It's a HUGE consideration I'm having because the OE switch in mine has snapped off the bracket and just kind of "jiggles" in place.

This is the info on the site:

the he automatic sunroof control module’s simple no solder installation can be completed within about 20 minutes with basic tools and the included hardware.

The automatic sunroof control module does not require the installer to splice any wires. Simply cut the harness, strip the wire ends, and connect to the headers on the board.

So it's easy and will do mine next week and give a review of the installation to see if the installation is really easy.

yeah it was the guy that had every excuse in the book and was taking peoples money and not delivering product. I think he said once he had no heat and was using his dogs warmth for heat or something. I think hes an escamo out in the tundra next to a camp of polar bears.

I highly advise AGAINST buying from this guy wether he says he has some or not.

Ill link the thread of destruction and excuses if you guys want.

Here is your own quote from the last time if you remember

YOU HAVE ONE ON YOUR DESK READY TO SHIP, GO TO THE POST OFFICE AND MAIL, TAKE 5 MINUTES.

The complaint with paypal was closed in 5 minutes....what a great salesman!

My opinion, STAY AWAY FROM HIM as he don't answer mail and don't ship item when SUPPOSED to be ready...

and here is the derailment of a thread.

MCI - Auto Sunroof and Window Controllers - Cobalt SS Network

Also he tried selling these items 3-4 times and was banned under a few different names before finally getting the hint there was one way to do it and that was to become a vendor. If he wants to do that the right way he knows how to. But if he does I will personally advise against it due to his last run here.

This, the guy was crazy in his claims. I had been tempted to develop one for myself, but work takes up all my time

I know what I wrote and I'm not with him. It's the same guy that screw me once lol. He wrote back to me and said he is back in business. Asked him a photo with my profile name and he delivered.

I wanted that last year and asked a refund...with the picture he sent me, I will give it a try....I have the tracking number and paid again with paypal so I can always have my cash back if it's not ok.

You can erase the thread if there is no interest...I don't care lol

Anytime. Trying to save you guys the headache of sending money for something then having to go through paypal to get your money back, and then me and Jeff the hassle of getting all the pm's of people saying "oh how can you guys let this dude be a vendor" etc etc. It saved us all the headache

I'm not interested in one anyhow. Are we really that lazy that we can't hold a button?

Not lazy just feel it'd be a worthwhile mod since my switch already needs fixin' ;-)

I received one of these units the first time around and it works great. Mike addressed all my concerns and even gave me a full refund when the automatic window module project didn't get off the ground.

I certainly understand the apprehension and everything, but Mike put out a good module for a select few people that ordered them. His time schedule could use some work sure, I paid and got a module long after the PayPal terms would have covered a refund request.

I use my sunroof daily, that module works almost seamlessly and I forget what it's like to hold that silly toggle. There is one little hiccup, of vent is chosen it will occasionally open all the way, Mike said the toggle sends out a momentary open before the vent circuit engages, so a problem with the switch, not the box.

You only changed the title of your first post, it's not possible for users to change thread topics.
