ZZP disappointed me big time! :(
I ordered the ZZP 2.4 S/C kit for my balt, when i received my shipment they did not send me a PCM or map sensor even know i paid core charges. I emailed ZZP and they said we will send you a pcm and map sensor, well i got that in the mail today to find out they didn't send me the right map sensor for my car and when the PCM got flashed they didn't put my vin number in the flash so my car is not able to start due to security lockdown mode and didn't add a CASE learn... i went through all the procedures of a re-learn and none of them worked. I would not recommend ZZP to anyone on the cobaltss.net forms it would be cheaper and more relible to build your own set up and say the money they charge. STAY AWAY!

What i take away from this is they they do try to rectify their **** ups. been ordering from them for years with no issues. Are they still working the issues ?

ZZP has always been willing to work with me. I suggest communicating with them. Im sure with the trouble you have gone through they will send you could work out a discount on something else or get it for free. This really is an anomaly.. there customer service is usually great. email tim@zzperformance.com He will make it right.

I installed their S/C kit on DFZ24's car, it was very complete, but they sent him a PCM from an auto car and his is manual, so his speedo didn't work at all. I ended up getting the file e-mailed from them to me and flashed it via HPT myself, and he returned the PCM and got a credit. I've also installed a LOT of their products on Blazin's car, turbo kits and such, everything was very complete and went in without drama.
This is just a case of "**** happens", that's what modding cars is. They are a good company and will work with you to make it right, sucks that it's inconvenient and I understand that part, but that's life unfortunately at times.

^^^ I agree. Tim@ ZZP will help you. I helped a local guy who issues with his car, and he drove to ZZP to get it done. Through no fault of ZZP the local guys stock ecu had been screwed with by a local outfit , locked and unusable. ZZP did a work around so he could drive home, and then I was able to rectify what was wrong, working with the customer and ZZP and our very good local tuner, SSKev. It cost the customer bux no doubt. Bux he didnt count on.
Its very hard to do these mail order style upgrades, particularly if the installer or customer is doing it for the very first time.
I suggest you talk to Tim and get it figured out. Good luck.

HP tuners can rectify the situation. however it is not an "easy program" It takes lots of research but its a powerful tool. Keep in contact with ZZP. my suggestion is to email tim your phone number and have him call you. Guarantee he can sort it out in a few minutes. Ive bought 5k plus parts/service from ZZP and they are fantastic. Dont fret OP they will steer your right!

WE don't ignore emails but we get them sent to many different email addresses, and facebook and personal emails of employees. sometimes a spam folder filters them, sometimes we don't get them, sometimes a customer doesn't get the reply we send, sometimes our email address is entered wrong. Don't assume that no response means you were ignored. I'd always follow up with 'did you get my last email?" if you haven't received a reply within 24 hours

Also there is an auto response from zzp triggered by certain terms in your email that sends you a link to a FAQ page basically. It seems like you gotta reply to that or it doesn't go to a person.

they get it wrong email or call them. Crap happens... they've been awesome for me, took my prix when I had it to them did what I needed just getting exhaust back on first got my balt got it tuned by Tim, he asked if I was stock clutch put me down for a more mild tune. Took my fiero there, got it dyno tuned and they helped me solve an issue.
communication is key.. I'm happy as hell they are local'ish too 30 min drive... I wouldn't trust other places touching my fiero or balt. Am I **** like that... yup, but hey.
