Electrical: How To Add Factory Power Windows and Factory Tweeters
#26
I just wanted to note that Double T has done such an amazing job on this how to thread. I'm very happy with the results, very nice. So now there is no more reaching over to the crank handle on the passenger side to roll down the window on those hot summer days. The manual crank windows are a thing of the past for me. My last two cars I had owned up to before my 2010 Chevrolet Cobalt (bought new in May 2010) were a 1993 Chevrolet Beretta (owned between 1995 and 2002) and a 1999 Chevrolet Cavalier (owned between 2002 and 2010) also had manual crank windows, manual locks and manual mirrors. The power window upgrade on my Cobalt was well worth it for me in the end, making it my first car to have power windows, power locks and power mirrors.
Here's what the factory power option switches on the bezels look like at night on my upgraded 2010 Chevrolet Cobalt LS Coupe:

Illumination wire for switches.
Does anyone know how to get the illumination working on the door switches? I know this post is pretty old but I can't find anywhere on how to wire it up so I can see my door switches at night.
