get a used one. i wouldnt get a new one just for the face anyway plus ud have to reprogram it and everything. just go used

alright, I finished up my cluster LEDs yesterday and I took a pic of the polarities in case anyone else had the question.

also, I wanted to add that if you can figure out the polarity of one light by plugging it back into the car, you can use a 9v battery to test the rest of them.

yeah, I'd be pissed if someone told me something wrong like that. but the 9v battery thing is a good idea in my opinion.

Yes it is. Im just unsure of the skill level of people there for I leave out shortcuts like this because if you short some parts or something and fry your cluster I dont wanna know about it haha.

haha, I know what ya mean.. I was doubling up my LEDs when I was trying to use my extremely dim red LEDs and my leads touched when I plugged in my HVAC control.. needless to say, I popped that fuse. I didn't know about that particular fuse, so I thought I shorted out my circuit board, lol.. So I'm a little more careful about it now

Maybe as people do them they can take pictures with the polarities marked and a piece of paper showing the year. That way the op can move them to the first post and we will eventually have a database for people to refer to. I know it's a bit of a pain in the ass but we already have one so we only need 4 or 5 more and we will eliminate a lot of the questions in this thread.
Whenever I get around to my 07 I will take pictures hopefully a few more people will do the same

if you came a vendor here and bought a set of each model to do for people so you could set up a core policy i think youd get alot of buisness, especially from people like myself who dont want to attempt this stuff.

Look at the RPM X1000 brightness compared to the 0 mile and hour number....I was gonna put it my car but a simple thing like that will drive me nuts lol.

There's only a couple I havent liked. Normally I tear them back down and change lights/ color.
