aaaaight sooo, to disable the CCFL bar, cut this wire, you can prolly cut either of the green or either of the black on that small harness but if ya wanna be safe cut this one

to disable the led's cut the red wire coming out the back of the housing

]

...yes the blurry red wire right there, forgive for the cellphone pics

and the result

and dont forget the tape off the wires ect, and if for some reason you want to disable all led's and ccfl's including the halo's, cut the red wire that seperates into the 3 other red wires

Heres the aiming directions using a screwdriver from the back not the top slot.

Silver screw - Vertical aiming
Right=Up Left=Down

Gold screw - Horizontal aiming
Right=Left Left=Right

OK, so I have a problem. I removed the upshot metal piece from my projector housing. It was super easy, except that the screw wouldnt come out, on either side no matter how hard I tried, so I just left it in, assuming it covers the hole, and neglects the need to use muffler mener

Well I decided i was going to adjust my HID's. What I really noticed now is that I see the line on the road. NOT ONLY DO I SEE THE LINE ON TEH ROAD THE LEFT AND THE RIGHT HAVE LINES THAT DONT MEET. In other words, teh left light lights up farther down the road. I can see it on the ground. If I stand in front of that light, I can clearly see the right light doesnt go as far down the road, its practically right in front of my car. So each side goes a different distance down the road.

If I stand 50 feet away I can see my left light seems brighter then my rigth because of this.

I have 2 questions in regards to this.

1.) Should the 2 lights meet, and light an equal distance away from the car, or should the left shoot further then the right on purpose?

2.) Looking at the shot above, I assume the 2 bolts at the top of the middle light (the projector) are the adjusters right? Which bolt is for (left and right) and which is for (up and down) Also which direction would be up and which would be down?

3.) How many turns should it take to get a decent adjustment? 5 full turns, and should I see something? Can it eventually unscrew completely, and then I run into trouble?

Yea, you have to turn both bolts. I losened both about 5 total turns and it got them right where I want them to be. Originally I thought each bolt did something different (aka 1 bolt = up and down, other bolt = left and right) but they dont, both bolts = up and down, and turning just one determines left and or right.

I got the ones from visionbulbs, which have the tab and return lead on opposite sides (so that the return lead is on top), I believe, and I don't notice any dark spots on the road.

They look perfectly fine, the only thing that bugs me from time to time is the cutoff pattern (yes, i realize it's a perfectly acceptable cutoff pattern, the ECE-code cutoff).

There should be a line or somethin. I guess if its not bad then i will just get em. This one ebay seller said he has em with the tab on both sides, but would that fit?

I dont mind the cutoff. The uneven light pattern bothers me.

Those ones with the dual tabs would be a really tight fit. Actually they would probably not fit.

do you guys know if there would be a way of disabling the amber parking lights and have them only be on when they're used for flashing??

I want to disconnect the CCFL bar and I'd like to have these off so you can see only the halos + LED's
