DUDE patent that thing!! The YoYo Ratchet. Use a wire in the ratchet head instead of string like a bicycle brake cable spring load to retract!!
That was a cool trick. Might have to try that sometime......

staged07ss - thanks for the how to, really came in handy yesterday man!
so on that 'elusive 5th bolt' afformentioned in the post. well, yes. turns out its a REAL pita.
well, we had a stroke of genius yesterday and did this: attached end of string on a socket, then tied it around the socket like a yoyo. get the ratchet down to the bolt (if you can even see it lol) and pull the string. hope this helps anyone doing that because without the string we could only turn the bolt 1/16 of a turn at a time.. which sucks because its a long threaded bolt
heres a vid of what i mean

I removed my intake manifold last night. I also struggled big time with the lower hidden 15mm bolt under the IM. I couldn't see it, and I couldn't feel for it since my hands are too large for the space between the IM and the alternator. I came close to removing the alternator - but the ZZP instructions and the GM instructions just say remove the bolt. In the end - I stuck an extendable inspection-type dentist mirror down the crevice to find the bolt. Once I saw it - and realized where it was exactly - and it was relatively close to the side of the IM ... I experimented with different sized ratchets (1/2 and 3/8) and was able to slip a socket onto it. From there it was alot of fiddling with the ratchet - no string required. The string idea is clever though.

This was very helpful over all. the part that mess me up was the placing a worm gear clamp on the end of the laminova . my tubes pulled out VERY HARD the clamp came off twice so I tighten the clamps which left marks from the worm gear housing on the very outside of the end like 3/16 in, not all the way to where the seal sits but close not sure if I should run these tubes or not? I did try and emery paper the markets off which I got pretty much but they are still on the very end 1/8 ? 3/16 in again not as far back as where the seal sits. I might put it back together and try and do a vacuum test. Any takes on this?
