There is really nothing difficult about installing the 2.4 SS grill on the 2.0 SS/SC.
Just take it out of the box, align it in the opening and snap it in. The grill has clips that clip around the edge, so make sure you push on the grill to make sure it is clipped properly.
Be especially sure to check your corners.

YUP that's just how I put mine in. I really finishes up the front end. LOOKS GOOD!

Thats looks really good! Thats gonna become a popular item for guys running lower boost. Higher boost guys won't want it, if I was getting a lower grill I'd do what Cobalt_Supercharged did with his.

 

Why wouldnt' the higher boost guys want to keep dings and such form impeading airflow? Sure the grill cuts the total flow down but in the long term the Condenser of aftermarket HE won't be all bashed up.

 

Nice to see it's as easy as I thought... I'll be doing it next week.

 

Do you have a pic from maybe 30-40' away? It would be nice to see how it looks with the rest of the car rather then right up close.

blown thinks only of pure performance thus quality, longevity and reliability take a back seat ... though I think blown took his out so quality and reliability had to stay at home

 

I was going to do the home grown lower grill from the "How To Section". Btw, this site really has a lot of good info, enough to make want to become a premium member. Anyways, I searched for "metal lathe" from the local hardware joints but apparently this is pretty rare stuff 'round here, no ones heard of it. All I got were a bunch of puckered, quizical looks along with the usual head scratching followed up with the sage advice to check in the Garden Section. I mentioned stucco, too. All the places around here sell a similar item known as hardware cloth. Over glorified chicken wire, cheap though. What sold me were the now deleted "how to" pics. You should have left them...... Anyway I ordered one, despite the fact they didn't offer any complimentary vasilene along with their shipping charges.

 

Check out any pic of the SS/NA... they have them standard. You'll get the idea.

I was quite happy with my lower grill until a large piece of tire from the trailer in front of me "uninstalled" it @ 80 mph last week. Now I need to order another grill + a new lip...

The reason I brought this up is because that grill probably saved me God only knows how much money had it not been there. Well worth the $'s.

 

I wonder if some ******* will come along and just yank one out from a 2.4. I'm gonna go guard my car now....
