LMAO at rattle cans not painting as good... My job is to paint Navy Aircraft, most of the time we use spray guns, but for some of the touch ups we use a rattle can and it holds up pretty good to the weather and all the strains put on it by being on an aircraft's exterior skin. And i very highly doubt that anyone that paints the trim on the INSIDE of the car is putting as much stress on the paint as the aircraft does.
When painting its all about the prep work, and how skilled the painter is. I will say that mst people that use a rattle can have no clue how to paint, but for those of us who do, the job turns out great when done right

Well thank you on the compliment on the pin stripe. Im not experienced with painting at all and I have no problem admitting that. I wanna paint my dash trim and I plan on going to the dealer and ordering paint from them that matches my car. I plan on sanding down my dash trim, spraying a primer with some kind of plastic adhesian promoter, then spraying a few coats of gloss black. After it dries I plan on putting a vinyl down where the SS is. Then spraying a few coats of rally yellow. After that dries I remove the vinyl and spray 2-3 coats of laquer.

Looks good man. Pretty much how mine is gonna be. Im thinking about going all black with like a yellow design in it. Only because the headunit it black and to me it just stands out too much.

Im using Duplicolor adhesion promotor, GM factory touch up spray paint, Duplicolor Lacquer. Needed another can of GM paint to finish the rest so I have above glove box and headunit done for now.
