Are the radio controls hidden or able to be tapped if you dont already have them and add the steering wheel with the controls? I know that in some cars they built them ALL with the wiring there and then lower the cost by avoiding the controls (cruise control I think is the same but requires a trip to the dealer for an ECM flash). But If I just buy the wheel and/or radio controls, are they already bundled somewhere or do I have to start messing with the cable loom looking for the right wires ? My LS only has the 2 steering whee controls to cycle through oil usage, miles per trip, etc. I'm hoping I can add the radio steering wheel switches and that they are tucked away and can be plugged in without a trip to a dealer

Thanks
John

MIGHT I ADD DISCONNECT THE BATTERY! If you at all short anything between the air bag terminals and BOOM you got a deployed bag and possibly worse. static can deploy that bag i know we did it when i waas taking my journeymens for gm mechanic.

I have an 05 and the bezels to paint are the rough texture of all the interior plastics. Did you scuff them to paint or is yours a different year? Your red pieces look smooth

YOU CANNOT DEPLOY THE AIRBAG! the airbag system needs to close two circuits before in can blow... and you moving the bag around is just not gonna do that....

damn why do i have to have such a funky color. the rest of the trim is being covered in CF. I dont see how this can be done tho with the buttons without the resin getting in there.

07MetallicSC :: you can take out the button cluster and it leaves a open space... easy to paint and re-click in.
