i tinted mine as dark as yours, but i didnt wet sand during prep, so theres a texture to the tint, but it still looks good. when doing this yourself, the base coat is the most important step in tinting your tail lights. also, dont go to fast when painting the third break light or paint will build up on the corners.

P.S: DONT BUY ANY VINIL TINT ON EBAY!!!

why not just do it yourself and make it the way you want it instead of having someone else do it. its as easy as spraypainting anything else.

If you dont like painting you can always go with static cling tint. I do love to paint but my friend had extra tint laying around so i put it on and i love them! You can get it at walmart for 15 bucks/

Word. I'm just doing my rear marker lights and my 3rd. So this'll be way more adventageous than painting.. I can remove this if necessary..

that looks really good, prob wouldn't work with the coupe tail lights though.

I was thinking that. Flat surfaces will work great. I can't believe I never thought of that. But the coupes would just crease the film. You'd have to be insanely skilled to do them right, if at all. But being that skilled at placing tint would just be weird. haha

Nah. If it's pre-cut, that'll be the only way to go for the coupe if you want to do stick on. That's better than paint because if a cop gives you a fix-it ticket, at least you can just pull it off..

What % tint is shown in these pics? Anyone do their 3rd brakelight yet? I want to see how it looks before I do it.. But yeah, Advance has alot of percentages available.. I want dark as **** on the rear markr lenses, but I'd rather not be black on my 3rd.. Trade-offs..

I have the 5 % static cling. make sure you get double sided tape to hel with the install...makes it a hell of a lot easier.

For me.....

1. Buy 2fastss's already VHT nightshaded tailights/sidemarkers.
2. Swap out my stock lights/sidemarkers with his.
