i just did my reflectors and 3rd brake light 2nite and they came out good, its alttle to cold outside to paint right now so i would run outside and spray them and run back inside to let them dry lol, would even use a blow dryer to heat up the reflectors before each layer....haha....ghetto yes but they came out great, 2morrow i do the tail lights

lol i used like 6 or 7 coats...what can i say i really wanted mine dark, but i did extremely thin coats to where u could barely tell the differnce in how dark they got on each coat

has anyone ever had problems with this like being cited by police or been in accidents because of this? i want to do mine but am more worried about being in an accident. im not going too dark. just a darker shade of red

you'll be fine if you can still see red. **** dude i never got pulled over and mine were full black. youll be ok though if you can still see red

good how to but if people are looking for a glossy finish definately wet sand the clear afterwards and buff it so it matches the car gloss. my opinion, it looks a lot better especially on black cars

ya i know lol i bought 2 can caus esometimes one messes up but both of them are leaving a grey tinge on them

will anything happen if i dont clear coat them??

nothing will happen but did you do thick of thin coats cause mine were kinda like that with light coats of clear but then they glossed up nicely with thicker coats of clear hope it helps

What stores carry Nightshades or Krylon Crystal Clear Translucent Spraypaint? i been to michaels, advance auto parts, home depot, and nothing? I dont feel like buying online and waiting for shipment.... any ideas?

Someone mentioned this a couple pages back.....Testors "translucent Black window tint" for tinting windows on model cars....I've used it on model cars...looks totally authentic. I'm gonna try it on my tails and see what happens. I think it should be fine. Designed to spray on plastic...and with a shot of clear over it, I think it should hold up fine. I'll post pics
