All you need is a 10mm socket, a 10mm wrench (not nessecary, but very helpful), a 5/32" socket and/or wrench, a socket wrench (or driver), and some pliers. It's seriously so simple.
5/32" is for all the wheel tub bolts, 10mm is for everything else, and the pliers are for that stupid pin under the airbox. Door panel puller works way better in that area.

I just finished my last night. It was kind of strange at first. But like a few of you said. That last bolt on the inner side of the wheel weld was giving me some issues. I finally was able to pull it off. The sound is rather nice. It's nothing that is very annoying or anything. It sounds like the AEM CAI I had on my EG6 back in the day.

I doubt you'll see any mpg difference. I'm going to give it another try tomorrow at work.. we have a pile of air tools there I'll try to get that damn bolt off. I can't believe it's stripped.. It's bad enough I can't get it off without air.

No, the one under the headlight - not the rubber thingy

The bolt itself. I pulled out the air ratchet today at work and did the job with a two inch extension, 6mm metric socket, and a 10mm metric socket. Took out the headlamp, and the rocker panel to get out the air resonator. Worth it though for having that hunk of plastic out of there.
That air ratchet really got it's workout today, it was hot after I was done with it in an hour of work!
