Intense Kit Installed!!!! Lots of pics...
Well, here are some pics of the kit:
The kit:
2.8" Pulley:
Lucas 42lb/hr Injectors:
MAF-T:
Injector Harness:
ZZ Performance Pulley Puller:
Saturday, 3/4 I installed my Intense kit. The install went smooth took me about 2 hrs. After I installed everything, I took it for a drive and something didn't seem right, the car only felt a little bit faster.
On my guage it was reading 17.8 psi's, the boost by-pass mod is done. I went to my girlfriends house and I was watching KR and O2 sensor voltage everything seemed great. No KR the voltage stayed in the good range so I was happy.
I get out of the car and smell a really strong scent of gas. I checked the injectors and gas was pouring out of injector 1.
I go home, take off the fuel rail and reinstalled the injector. Started the car up still gas is pouring out of it.
I go to take the fuel rail back off, and I broke a bolt holding it in. I gave up!
I checked the injectors again everything seemed ok. I started the car back up and gas is pouring out of injectors 1 and 3. Also, an ENGINE POWER REDUCED msg came across the DIC...
I posted on here my probs and Rouge and a few others said the O-rings were not seating right. Try vasaline the o-rings and re-install...
I went back out took off the two problem injectors librally coated the O-rings with vasaline and gently worked them down into the fuel rail....
Started the car up with no problems, no CEL's. I checked the injectors and everything is ok...
Took the car for a spin and there I smell FUEL!!!! #3 injector was now leaking and #1 was leaking some!!!!
So, I go home take the fuel rail back off, and took off, again, the two problem injectors and replaced the O-rings with the stock blue O-rings and VERY librally coated the O-rings with vasaline and gently reinstalled them. Bolt the fuel rail back on. Start the car up and everything is ok
Took the car for another spin... The car ran great! No leaks yet everything is fine!
On a side note: With INTENSE'S suggested settings were WAY too lean for my car. I am not sure that having an intake and exhaust make a diff., but as of right now I have the settings at: Base: F and WOT: 5
These settings seem to be working out better a little on the richer side before the redline but then at the redline is leans out a bit about 885 (sensor voltage)... So I am between 880 and 910...
The ZZ Performance pulley puller worked flawlessly..
The belt has not slipped yet the stock tensioner is doing its job, but I do have the larger idler pulley on it's way...
Intense's kit is great! Make good power and is very simple to install, I recommend it to anyone!
Sorry for the long post and for the image dates LOL...

Thanks, zinner I wasn't sure where to post it!
Yea, alot of pics...thanks...
Also, I had a few other difficulties. Remember, before attempting to remove the coolant hose from the head, make sure you just didn't drive 45 min home or this will result in HOT coolant EVERYWHERE! I swear I sprayed someone with the coolant a mile away...It spwed everywhere HAHA!
