09 Cobalt Broken Door Knob (manual lock pin)
Hi, I recently bought a used 09 Cobalt and the door lock pin for the driver side is snaped in half. Its broken far enough down that I am not able to grip it and pull it out once I'm ready to get out of my car. I pointed it out to my dad when we bought the car but he told me that they simply just twist out. Since I have gotten the car home I have tried twisting it out and it won't budge.
I have searched around on google, and on this form and I havent foud any information on how to fix this, and was wondering if anyone would happen to know.
Thanks in advance,
Ryan

If it's the cable wire with the cylinder head, you pull that out and you need to hold that bar in place while pushing it down into the placeholder.
It's a pain in the ass, and will take several tries, but it will work. Once it hooks, you can put your trim back into place as long as you're not being too rough (vibrations will knock it out of place).
