how can I remove front chevy bowtie?

for some reason, water got inside my front bowtie and it's kind of faded also from 6 years of use. I've tried getting a wrench in there to get the nuts off but there's not enough room to do it. Is there any other way to remove the bowtie without taking off the front grille? please help asap this has been a pain in the ass.

Yup. Pop the plastic rivets out of the top of the grill and reach in with a 10mm. Easy.

Aren't the bolts accessible from the bottom? I've taken mine out that way before.

You could do that too if you want to get on the ground.

got it figured out. I like using Krylon for plastic as well as the clearcoat, seems to hold up pretty well. I'll post some pics when it's done

I tried krylon myself. Worked nicely. But how does it hold up to heat? Like under the hood on the motor heat? You know? Lol

i dont think my emblem will be touching the motor anytime soon lmao. We'll see when summer comes around and it gets up to 40 degrees celsius out though.

Haven't seen this thread for a bit but I'll probably never use anything but engine enamel under the hood.

Although, the krylon may hold up on the front Fascia and fuse box cover but not sure
