release belt ( use 15mm open end wrench and a screwdriver to push the tensioner down. dont jam the screwdriver on the tensioner pulley. remove belt off blower. Undo allen bolts 6mm allen head. remove blower. requires removing top fuel rail cover and inlet coupler, and vacuum hoses, throttle body connector ( use a small pick to remove the grey safety lock on the connector first.) I half remove the blower to access that tb connector easier.
remove lower IM bolt, 15 mm socket, wobble socket works best. remove alternator works even better to reach this bolt. if so disconnect battery first. then remove dipstick to IM bolt. then go to IM bolts up top and take it off.
remove ic pump and let it hang on hoses. remove bracket.
clean up inlet manifold to head surfaces.install bracket for pump using washers spacers and bolts provided. You will need to bend the dipstick and may lose the top dipstick anchor bolt to clear. You will also have to make sure after you install the IM that you rotate the pump so the hoses are not kinked from the output of the pump to the heat exchanger, moving the pump forward with the spacer will automatically kink the hose if you do not. Take some care here, or all your gains from the phenolic spacer will be lost due to poor installation
install phenolic spacer, and old im gasket.
replace im using longer bolts provided. use washers behind the two long bolts.
zzp do not provide washers.
if you run option B you should re route your hoses to clear pulley which is now closer to the tie bar.
torque values: 8 mm bolts 89 inch lbs. blower allen bolts14 ft lbs
make sure belt is aligned on ac pulley and lower pulleys if the belt squeals after install u are off one rib.
sorry no pics. hope this helps
