High temp paint. I had used regular paint with a high temp primer and it still cracked. Well was cracking until I put a clear coat over it lol

Well...what I had done was put high temp paint and then sprayed some of that glossy car replica paint from autozone. that started cracking after a bit so I just said f it and sprayed clear over it. It stopped the cracking lol

High heat paint is best, just for ease of application and longevity, but I have heard of people using regular paint like 2oz said. Someone did it with that chameleon paint if Im not mistaken. But dont try to polish it before painting. You need some texture for the paint to cling to.
