ya seriously, im kinda confusled.
so if i pay 650 for this unit........i dont even get to use more than a few times??
i wish there was an easier way to tune......WHYYYY!?!?!
but i would like someones suggestion,
im puttin' the K&N typhoon CAI, on my 2.2,
but before that im switching out the cat with a magnaflow, and running that through a skunk2 muffler.
My question IS....which one should be done first, and am i really not going to see that big of an increase from the CAI.
Anybody with this kinda stuff under ur belt, please just gimme a rundown.
thanks alot

Calm down.

2 credits will unlock a single VIN on your HPTuner cable forever.
6 credits will unlock all cars of a single year/model (like 2006 Cobalt 2.0)

When you buy the package from HP Tuners you get 8 credits. Additional credits are $50 a piece.

HP Tuners is a full on tuning suite that will allow YOU to tune your vehicle, scan your vehicle, etc. which you will be able to use forever on not only your cobalt but hundreds of other year/make/model vehicles. Most people will tell you that having a good scan tool will be one of thee best things you could have for your vehicle.

Trifecta uses a software package similar to hptuners tune your vehicle for you via mail you are charged a fee & get a tune out of it but once its all said & done thats all you have.

You need a laptop.

They give you the rest.

Unless you drastically change values our cars won't let themselves get blown up.
