Question for the good folks at Intense
Im going to be getting a SS here in the next few months and when I do get it I'm wanting to take care of some issues right off the bat
I will need the following items installed the Intense stage 5 kit, clutch, axles, head gasket, and stonger head studs, I live in PA how long would it take to get all these things installed I would only have a few days at most, its hard to get days off at my job

Update: The car was ordered Nov 7th and should be here in another 3-5 weeks
Again pertaining to the Stage 5 upgrade, assuming I also had full intake, exhaust and all solid mounts, cobalt addiction heat exchanger, and the head gasket fixed with the cometic MLS and ARP studs, what kinda power levels am I looking at and is that safe long term on internals , GM specs from all I can see say 400hp crank on the LSJ stock but we all know the weak point is the head gasket which ill be taking care of
Ive seen a post from about 2 years ago where a 2.8 pulley was used with a MAF translator and put down 270whp with intense parts, yet the description of the 2.5 inch pulley with the stage 5 setup states 275whp? Seems to me like it should be alot more than that

im also considering pistons now that im hearing alot about them being a very weak spot , I wonder though is it possible to slap in new pistons on a motor with less than 3000 miles and get away with it without honing?

He doesnt have to be rich to spend $4000 on the car when he gets it. What if he has $5000 for a down payment like some of u did but instead of using it all on a down payment he only used $1000 ad the other $4000 was for toys.
