It makes it easier if you remove some of the firewall insulation. The package comes with header wrap so there wont be any heat issues if you do remove some of the black cloth/heat insulation...

is it all wrapped or just the #2 primary? ... damn that is a tight fit if thats the case... is it worth it to pull the CV axle to gain more room?

i was originally gonna buy the 3 inch cti dp with my vortex header, adn 2.5 exhaust, but i heard from a tuner that i would get more power from a 2.5 inch dp with this set up, and this guy is running with a 2.6 pulley and 60 injectors also

From what I have heard from JBP they only provide enough heat-wrap for the number two primary, which is the only one that is close to the firewall.

For install you might want to remove the half-shaft to make it easier...if you you are doing it on your own...

1) Guys, there is no header wrap included with the header as it is not needed.
2) There is no need to grind or cut anything anywhere.
3) There shouldn't be any need to remove the firewall insulation, it will fit right infront of it just fine.

Actually steve, i think they re-designed the header after some of the initial batches were having issues like yours.
