Hi blown -

I am working the motocross races as a flag man at the HOI fair Sat - but I will be available later in the afternoon.

Sunday, some vette guys are all getting together out north uf town to watch the C6R race at 1:00.

Post in here if any of you will be cruising somewhere and I'll see if I can make it.

All are welcome out at the races - should be fun - check out info at

www.rtrcycles.com

best regards -

What type of performance mods do you guys have on your SS/SC's?? I am looking into getting an exhaust and Stage 2, I was wondering if anyone had anything done to theres. All I have is DC strut bar and an Ingalls ETD.

I was hoping that someone had Stage 2 and then another had HP tuners, this would be a great benefit and discount to us all.

Ok, so monday i saw a blue SS/SC on Veterans Pkwy. in Bloomington...anyone?

I also saw a Blue SS/SC at the Super Walmart on Allen Rd. In Peoria...anyone?

I'm thinking about when i see a parked cobalt putting a flyer on the windshield for the site so we can get a bigger Central IL cobal scene.

Also would anybody be interested in creating a cobalt/redline club for central il?

I would be interested in starting a club. There is a guy at my work with a Blue SS-SC, it has the G85 and a sunroof. I wonder if that is the one that you saw. So I ran into a guy with a red SRT-4, he had stage one, he beat me. But he was pretty nice, my friend, who also has an SRT-4, was riding with me and we talked to him for a bit.

I am ordering the kit on line for $577.50 and then taking it to Chevy City in bloomington they quoted 80/hr and said it would only take 1.5 so it would be ~$120 total about $700 where as if I bought it through them it would be $850 plus tax for everything

In 3 months i'll be working for Chevy City!

Anyways We could get pretty serious about starting a club, spread the name and everything. We could all be like the 3 founders and all.

Anyways lets start something up, start thinking of a name and all that. I'll be pretty busy moving in the next week so I might be sketchy for a week or so but I'll check up.

ONE WEEK AND I'M IN PEORIA!!!

Name Idea: Central Illinois Cobalt Association CICA

Does this mean empliyee discounts to all club members??

Where would you be working there?

Do we want to get together with the Chicago guys and start a state wide club and then have chapters? I think that would be a good way to get big, and there are lots of people in Chicago with already highly modified cars. Just thinking of a way to pool resources. If we had one person with HP tuners, or bought it as a club, then we would save hundreds. We would just need one person to get theirs tuned, and if we all had the same mods it would put us in the ball park.

Dosent sound Like a bad idea. And i'm transfering to the Sears Auto Center in Peoria. The 8th is my first day, i gave myself a day off after the Brickyard since i have Start/Finish line tickets.

As for discounts I can hook anyone up with rims/tires and all that, i get like 15% off, the only thing is I'd hafta be the one to take it in and pay for it.

That would be cool to get a statewide club. I could be the West Central Illinois President. Well I am the only person around here with a Cobalt or even a cool car for that matter so I guess I would have no choice. lol I could try and recruit my cute neighbor who has a non SS/SC coupe. She is engaged though and is gone at school most of the time.

Anyone interested in meeting up sunday and doing my springs? I'm getting tired of hearing them roll around the back of my trunk!
