I'm very interested in this car. However it's a little over 8 hours away from me. If one of you guys lives in Anna, IL or around the area, not too far i don't want to trouble you, if you could go look at this car for me. Yes, i know it doesn't have an engine, thats why i'm interested. I want to hear from someone besides the owner what kind of shape the car is in and if you could take pictures of any rust spots, interior flaws, stuff like that.

I'm going to be repainting the exterior keeping that design but moving to blue w/ white stripes so don't worry about what condition the paint is in, just the body. Interior apolstry(sp), again, i'm not too worried about either because i'll be redoing that in white leather. I just need to know if and what interior pieces are missing, and what shape is the roll cage in.

If someone could do this for me i would greatly grealty appreciate it. Let me know if you would like to help me out and i'll give the guy a call and tell him.

 

Damn if this was two weeks ago I could have, I've got family in Anna and was just down visiting them. And didn't know racingjunk.com was still up haven't been on there in a long time. Good luck with it, 69's are the best.

ok im from marion, il and i have seen this car on many occasions he races it at I57 dragstrip and its very clean and with his setup he runs very very well...

 

well right now it doesn't have an engine. but thats fine cause i'll be putting one in. have you seen it in person. like up close?
