firstly thanks to "mkulrey13" for help on posting the images!!! also, nice neon job on your interior!
Ok, as I said 1st in class/20th overall out of 46 competitors
Yep, tons of smokage.... I don't have the G85 package and had just rotated my rear tires (7000 miles on them) to the front, so they were like new. I left a smoke screen down the straight and had it flowing through the car in the tight 180 degree turns... it was fun and took a lot of work.
I learned that I could actually do some low speed corners in 2nd gear and it dropped my lap times about a 1/2 second, although not as visually dramatic!
the competition in my class that day was:
2nd MR2 turbo
3rd 240 SX turbo
4th new Mustang (V6)
5th BMW Z3 M roadster
6th Lexus SC400
I beat a bunch of other worthy competition:
RX-8
RX-7 turbo
Audi TT
miata
EVO VIII
WRX (2)
turbo civic
TOP TEN cars were
STI's (5)
EVO MR
RX-8
WRX
subie RS
civic (race prepped)
We lost that racetrack this year to progress (condos). I was fun in the banked oval. I don't know where we'll be racing next season???? arrgh!!!
