on april 4th me and some buddies of mine are goin to byron drag strip its the first day this year its open so i was just thinkin i would invite everyone to come out if ya want i dont think im gonna run my car but it will be there ill update on what time and prices and if we wanna set up a cruise to go up there we can do that too

damn i was going to be heading the byron on the 5th with a few people

 

April 5th will be the big day at Byron. Thats when everybody I know is going. Cost is $10 to spectate and $25 to test and tune. Gates open at 9 and engines at 10.

 

im off work the 4th and 5th so i might go to either track either day

its west of chicago kinda out in the boons by the nuclear power plant

take 72 West out of the city to Byron... instead of following 72 by turning right and going into town you just stay straight on the road you are on for another mile and its on the left. Its about a 70 mile trip from the city and a lot of little towns on the way. www.byrondragway.com

GLD is not totally free to race. You still have to pay the spectators fee.

 

im going to go on saturday sadly i wont be able to make it there till late so probably cant run, i'm going to meet up with a couple friends and will hopefully see some you you guys around.

balt was gone a year or so ago and i had a srt-4 sold that few months ago for the g8

We're you at Byron or GLD? GLD way over preps the track the first few weeks. Its axle breaking heaven up there. 3 of my friends have broken axles on burnout within a few weeks of them opening.
