ik this isnt much of a city to have a meet at or cruise or anything but...

I've got an old friend I haven't seen for a few years that live's outside Cedar Rapids-I think he still works at the nuke plant up there. If I head up to see him this summer maybe I'll shoot you a pm.

probably not me, I don't usually Venture that far south.. lol. I have seen a red 05 SS, he's got tinted windows and I don't. I'll see him on the Marion bypass every now and then.

I did see a yellow SS a few weeks back at the Marion bypass and 151.


I know theres more too, I've seen at least 3 other SS's in the area

So three SS rolling around Sat night and nobody saw each other... lol

and that other red one you mentioned was the one i saw cuz this def had tinted windows...

08 SS/TC BSR Tuned here... in CR. Silver with High Rise. I don't know if I should be giving that information. Usually I drive pretty relaxed. Sometimes I'm a dick though. LOL

I don't see many SS's of ANY year around here. I see LT's quite a bit, occasionally a sport. Saw a yellow one with black stripes today getting off the Boyson rd. exit from 380 South.
There's some chick... she's an RN in Iowa City. She has a black 09 SS/TC. Haven't seen her though... she's on this board.

I haven't seen a silver hi rise yet, but I usually stay up North of CR in the Marion area. I've noticed most people around here drive fairly relaxed. I was warned about the Marion cops when I arrived. Plus there's not too many areas around to drive like a dick... lol

 

Yeah I go to Marion sometimes on the weekends. Watch out for Hiawatha cops too. Personally I think they are worse, I just don't see them as often... not sure where they hang out. lol

What part of Texas did you live? I used to visit the ex-wife's family a lot in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area.

 

I lived in the suburbs of DFW, little town called McKinney. Hmmm come to think about it I think McKinney is about the same size as Cedar Rapids.....

 

Oh ok... They live in Lancaster. I've been to McKinney though.

how funny, my Aunt lives in Lancaster, I always had a blast driving down Central Expressway, US75, when we went to visit, plenty of opportunities to be a dick down that road, especially on the weekends...lol

So yeah back on topic, CR balts, who's gonna head out to McGrath on Thursday? I wonder if they have a Camaro yet.....

yeah i agree with you i never see hiawatha cops...as far as marion cops they are the biggest dicks ever...my brother has gotten 3 tickets in marion 1 for tinted windows..1 for subs being too loud....and 1 for his truck being to loud with the glass packs on
