i don't give a **** who's rollin as long as there be drivers in this here club. can't stand a douche that's all car and no *****. i hear the concrete calling gents and she's beggin for hot sticky rubber.

 

^^^^thats what im saying i want a bunch of biased non dousche bag drivers that realizes anything and everything can be fast or slow. i really dont see it becoming an issue as long as everyones respectful twords eachother. so let me know whos all in if you guys wanna do it.

crate engine are you looking to sponsor a general club or a ecotec/chevy based club? thanks for the correction spankey i ment unbiased. i want to be open to everyone because i like to learn about everything and here what everyone has to say. any true car person can appreciate work done on anyones car regardless of the engine size or brand name stamped on it.

personally i think everyone thats in post their name on this here and lets see how many people we can get just from here...... also if you have friends interested post their names under your own so i know they are with you. then ill talk to some friends and we'll think of a legit meet place to talk about a name and all this crap. i agree i would rather not have a due and everyone just pays for their stickers and their shirts or whatever we decide to do......

just do a gm based club with members that own other cars that way neither the name nor the team needs to be biased toward a factory make. if in the end majority of the members own the same car it's all good if it's spread out then there's still no love lost.

 

yeah well i own ford and chevy and soon to be a subaru.

Ok, well boosted cobalt, I dont know who you are, ive never seen your name on here before. Ive talked to by buddy bluebolt66, and we both agree that Chicago Ecotec would be a sick ass club. I know there are vw and audi and subi and honda clubs around here, Time for an Ecotec club. It would be awesome if we could have our "HOME BASE" over at Crate engine depot. Tom says anything gm based. Ecotec club FTW, lets get this going.

 

ddsscobalt, i know of that that club. like you said some good guys and some dousche bags. the number of dousche bags out weigh the number of good guys.....its kind of like some of the people from " the chicago garage"

yzriderz, im still some what new to the board and thats probablly why. ive been on here awhile. i talk a lot with vince of trifecta, john powell, of powells race shop, and dan of clear image. i only post in spots where i feel i need to or want to. ive found theres too many pissing matches over stupid crap on this board just like it was over on ls1tech. im very well performance/image oriented though. i know my stuff when it comes to cars. i do mechanical work as well as my career choice of paint and body work.

so yes you are correct you dont know me.....we could always meet up shoot the **** and such. i have nothing against it. like i said before im fine for starting an ecotec club especially if ced is going to sponsor us....... i was just trying to broaden the horizons here. ill probablly end up being part of 2 clubs like i was before.

Chicagoland Ecotecs, Chi-Town Ecotecs, Ecotec Chicago are a few name possibilities.
