Ok, so, heres the deal.

on 4/27/07 Cordova dragstrip (www.cordovadrag.com) has something called midnight mayhem. its 11p to 4a on the friday night....(so friday night to saturday morning)


it includes tree races (normal drag racing), then they do the flag girl contests (street racing style race starts).




Me and a bunch of people from my area are gonna head up there at around 9 or so,

we've got a SRT8 300C, a SRT10 Ram, possibly 2 built SRT4's, a Evo 8(with alot of mods + nos), a Sentra, my balt, a civic, a talon, a prelude, and some others...


if your coming from the east, and want to meet up before hand, your more than welcome to cruise up there with the rest of us. (since Sterling, IL) is about 30ish min away from Cordova.

where exactly is this place located? im in nw indiana so how far would it be?

 

its near the quad cities. Hope you can make it down! its a cool set up they have there. doesnt have to be the best track as long as its at least a quarter mile and lots of cool people show up.

Well, something broke in my car. I have to tear it apart today.

I normaly run 16 flat (cant seem to brake that 15 barrier).

My first run I ran a 16.6.......heard a pinging noise 1/2 way down.
it went away, 2nd run ran a 16.8..........i think i broke something.


so today, im gonna go check it out. It could be the fact I have new tires and they spun and I didnt notice it.

nope, he never came and found me. right after you left i started running my spray. there is no way he would have kept up tho. sorry. i watched him run ( i think it was him ) they canceled the finals tho. the track got to bad. i did race a srt4 though. beat him by like 2 car's. remember the tack was BAD.. DANM GTO BLEW UP! SPLILLED OIL ALL OVER. it was nice to meet you. i hope that your car is ok. keep me updated!

 

how often do they do the midnight mayhem?

 

once a month, I think it may be the last saturday of the month. It was a blast. some drunk guy that was being stupid and told me my front drivers side light was out ( the whole Light was gone. thats where i have my nitrous module) got knocked out in the stageing lanes. typical street racing. only its on a track. its a lot of fun, if you are from the area. u might want to give it a shot.

 

Yeah my husband was telling me about that guy that was talking **** and how he got knocked out. I guess his friend threw a pop bottle at the guy who decked him and the bottled ended up bouncing and hit that Supra that was there and the driver was way pissed.


Definitely a good time...would be nice to get a few more SS's out there on a regular basis if we could. We are definitely planning on going to the next one.

 

next months, hopefuly my car will be done.
