That's the way I am. I don't care if I win or lose just as long as the other guy is pretty cool. Hell, I roll with a stock 01 Z28, a worked 00 Z28, an 07 Busa, and an 07 (I believe) 636, so I am the slowest as of now as well. Actually, I think it may be a pretty close run between me and the 01 Z28, and I have a little something for the 00 when he's spinning.

 

huh i guess i'm just used to very agressive cams on the ecotecs that make them idle at 1500 or so thx for the specs though... you definately learn something new everyday.. lol i don't know as much about the "muscle cars" as I used to ... old school (60s-80s at latest) stangs, camaros, vettes and gtos' as such used to be my focus ( i would still kill for a stingray or old school GTO... ( speaking of which there's an old GTO about 15 mins away from me for sale haha) .. however now since i have an ecotec my brain only thinks in those formats... lol thanks for giving me a reminder / wake up of the old days..

just usually with your setup i wouldn't expect a blown motor unless you're riding it really hard often.. but if the previous owner was juiced and modded i can see how it would deteriorate things....

Didn't mean a ported kb...just ported stock blower, and kenne bell/whipple cobra's...those always will beat me lol. Simple pullied cobras are always a good race.

I wouldn't mind finding a few races...i have been beaten by a few 4 cylinder...most recent was a SRT-4, cams, 75 shot, 21psi boost...good running car, he put a good 1-2 cars on me 60-120.

 

Them SRT's can be pretty sick, but comin from a GM guy...Still a Neon in my eyes.

There are a couple builds goin on for the Cobalts, once these builds come to complete fruition, I think we will be a much better competitor. Being FWD makes things really tough on us with 60's times and the hole shot in general

I think 2 of my friends will come out...both Supercharged 2v Mustang GT's. One has a Whipple on 8 lbs..the other is a Kenne Belle car with a few more lbs. It runs pretty strong. I will have my camera, as well as them...
