Neither car got washed, I think were still takeing the red one, but you'll have to deal with it dirty :-(

Like it would still be clean in the rain and 2 hour drive anyway though...lol. See you in a while.

Just woke up also - My car is in the garage fully waxed and washed.

Hopefully it still looks good upon arrival.

Too bad the track cancelled. I don't know if the rain ever got that far south - I guess they just were being cautious.

We should plan an official track day, like say for next summer. I would recommend the Byron track since its much better in my opinion, and its not in the middle of nowhere in case someone needs gas, food, tow truck, etc. They are also very accomodating to groups; they can get trophys done, provide special staging lanes, etc. Also there's hotels and restuarants nearby.

I'll meet up you with you one day man - I spent 20 minutes or so scrubbing my trunk and noticed that my whole trunk lid was scratched up all over. But, the **** if off.

Post pics man! Great time, nice meeting you all.

Had a blast blazing over to I-57, I think some of the members now know where I got my nickname from!

Okay, I'm home. That was a fun weekend. Don't worry screamin'. Once you clean off the adhesive and use a little polishing compound it will be super clean.

Bloomington was a good time. Got lucky and escaped the rain, got to see a nice collection of all types of cars. Later that night I explored the tuner scene at Strat's drive in and got to meet Hypsy and his Cavalier.

Today was fun doing burn-outs and brake starts on Chipmunks street. I got show just how wussy my turbo-ready-but-no-turbo-yet car really is. I was surrounded by stage 2 SS's and felt small.

See ya all again soon!

Fun

wow, in retrospect I had a great time ,,,,, Srceamin's SC was stupid fast w/ a 135 mph blast from the stupidmarket.
burn outs on film.... Biohazards car did the smokiest burnout,,,, Craigs buddy w/ the GTP did one long ass burnout..... and the SC's were pushed to the point of emiting that lovely clutch odor!!!
by the way, the food was excellent and Craig was a great host.

Screamin's escort to I-57 turned out to be a backroad, barnstorming, 120 mph caravan which included SS SCghd's red stage 2, Biohazard's wicked loud balt and my non G85 SC. I have pics of my speedo at triple digits w/ Screamin's car in my front window (as I tried to keep up).

The caravan continued on I-57 (minus Screamin) and we proceeded to make our way thru traffic well above the limit where I took some action photos.

I got like 50 pics total that I'll have to upload somewhere on this sight after some cropping.
It was a pleasure meeting all of you and someone help me get the pics up here
have a great week!

Thanks to EVERYONE that showed up.... i think we did pretty good and it would have been 5x better if the weather wasnt iffy. the track would have been an awesome addition to the event. plus i think more people would have came. but it was a pretty short notice. next time will be a few months in advance so people can request off and get some mods to bring along to get installed. Jeff (halfcent) thanks for the help with the emblems. robot.... well GL with the clutch lol.
