ok, hopefully some of you peeps take a look at this.

im planning a bbq/cruise on october 8th....its a sunday.

meeting up (havent decided where yet) around 2 or 3pm...cruise on a preset route that im choosing...no speeding, as it will be a sunday drive through the country side...2 lane roads..all that good stuff. if you want to race or drive faster, go ahead, but youll probably wind up in an ambulance. i will include a little highway sprint near the end of the cruise (if i have it plotted right) to get up some speed time.

anyhoo, food and sodas will be PROVIDED by me..so just bring you and your car and a good attitude.

i have about 8 people already slated to be there, and they all have a different car..so yeah, its not a specific meet. just a good chance to meet up and and make new friends over some bbq or something.

if you are even remotely interested, post here or PM me and ill get you anymore info as it comes up.

hope to see some of you guys/gals out there!!!!

and please, do not go posting this around..i can only provide so much food, so if 80 people show up, i wont have a place for everyone to stand/sit and enough food/soda to go around...thanks.

well, after 1 day of it being posted, i have 9 for sures and about 12 pendings..lol..seems to be a good bbq turn out so far!

oct 8th is the official date.

probably start meeting up between 2 and 3pm @ AMC off of i-29 and barry road (near the airport) and then a nice easy cruise for a couple hours. grilling at my folks house (free place and big deck) and whatever follows that. probably a drive to sheridans or something.

I just need an address so I can mapquest it. I live inLawrence so it isn't that far of a drive but I have no idea where the AMC is.

 

just google KCI airport...you will reach the turn off for barry rd about 10 miles before the kci airport exit take barry rd, youll see AMC from i-29.

but i will go ahead and get you an address and post it up here when im done studing for a history exam booooooooo.

pat, i figured i should give you fair warning about crsx...right now there is a bit of drama going on, and it partially involves me.

'riceforthesol' and i were in a serious relationship ( i had planned to propose to her in janurary)..she broke it off earlier this month and not even a week later decided she had feelings for jay "speed_jaycer" so me and jay arent exactly on the best of terms at the moment...not only that be lied to my face about several things, several times (which i found out about a week ago) so yeah....just a fore warning about that stuff. cool? he and her both have lost a lot of respect with several of the members on crsx for that sole reason (lieing, etc.) so take that as you will.

 

I'm waiting for a meet in the Lee's Summitt area myself (I live abot 60 miles east of there...)

ok, maybe i should clarify something..i really dont care if you guys bring A friend..or 2 friends..but do not go posting this all over kcsr, or other websites for me. im trying to keep this in a group of people that i know or have contact with...lol. i cant feed 50 people :P but, if youd like to invite a friend to come with, thats ok...just LET ME KNOW first.

aside from that, weather is supposed to be around 70, 0% of precip, and partly cloudy. sounds be looking like a great day

for those that havent heard...we are meeting up between 2-3pm @ the AMC off of i-29 and barry. cruise is hopefully starting around 3:15-3:30 and will be running about 2 hours. give or take a little.
then there will be a bbq/grill/whatever after. you wont need to bring anything, as i will have brats/soda/chips here for you guys. BUT, if there is something you want to eat, bring it..well cook it. but thats pretty much it.

 

meh, have to work on Sundays, sometimes I like it, sometimes I don't.
