I dont know of any. I always found it easier, cheaper and sometimes better to buy things off the internet.

But, Im sure there is a place somewhere.....in a part of town I dont want to be in if my life depend on it.

But, are you still wanting to paint your headlights? I going to be buying a new set and sell my painted ones. Saves you the trouble of taking them apart and everything. $200 and I'll put them in for you.

Finding a place that keeps them in stock would probably be hard. I doubt there is much of a demand for performance parts for cobalts in Kc. On a side note I saw a silver ss/sc today in traffic, looked nice.

I like the intake. Gives the car a little more get-up and go. The Corsa exhaust helpped out a lot too.

Is the SS trim the only way to get the 2.4 in a coupe?

On a side note has anyone done any runs at kcir or heartland?

That would be a good question, as far as i know it is. When the cav was out the only way you could get the 2.4 was in the z24 or a auto 4 door.

I havent been the track in years. I would like to go soon and get some runs in while the ss 4dr is stock.

i went and looked at cobalts there. that group of ******** has no clue what they are doing when it comes to cars. they tried telling me my srt would get 'smoked' by an ss and all this other b.s. i just had to laugh and leave. not to mention they were asking 25k+ on a new ss s/c cobalt.

van chevrolet is about the only chevy place i would even consider going to anymore. their salesman at least halfway know what they are talking about.

well i i got alot better price than that. ive never seen too many car salesman that know **** about cars so i didnt go in expecting it. Their service was great and they were willing to quickly find out anything that they didnt know off the top of there heads. havent dealt with them much since i havent even got my first oil change yet so i have no real idea. just thought id throw out another option.

When are you guys going to KCIR? I heard that was a good fast track. I went to Heartland Park last week and ran alright but I need to hook. Let me know when you guys are going.

HP is a bit better then KCIR. kcir varies too much, imho.

but i unno. i know a couple of the kc people have done some stuff to their car, so i will probably go and be the 'stock' one they compare their gains to. i would be willing to bet we go sometime soon.

I know that Heartland chey in Liberty sells all the gmpp upgrades for the cobalts. I work there in the shop and have installed all the stage one and two upgrades on all the cobalts that have came in there so i know we can definatly get them. As for the sales people there they are pretty good as far as knowlege goes but then again they didnt have to tell me much when i bought my ss/sc from them so yeah just thought i would throw that out there!

Haha, I had Mel Hamelton call them up and I got quoted 21,500 shipped! I'm goign over to Young motors tomorrow to see fi I can't get a bidding war started. Cause if I can get this black SS/SC down to around 17 I'll buy it up. (I want one with red interior.)

17? Thats pushing it, hell w/ my dads GMS (employee) discount it was around mid 18's for a base SS/SC.

Booo on the red interior, I'd take the g85 package over colored inserts myself. ( or can you now get colored inserts w/ the g85? That'd be sweet. )
