im just doing a tune up on it plugs wires and what not you cant get to one plug because of the steering shaft is in the way it is tight ass hell cant get your hands in there its just a bitch

Area47 is da man. He tuned my SS/TC this afternoon. Except for a K&N drop in filter, the car has no other performance mods. The cool thing is it drives just like stock as long as you stay out of the boost. Drop the hammer and it's like mild mannered Dr. Jekyll changing into the evil Mr. Hyde.
Like he said, when I punch it in second gear, the tires start spinning like crazy. I ain't gonna have tires very long at this rate. Third gear pulls like a freight train. Boost comes on strong and the gauge swings up to 22 psi effortlessly.
I took the long way home and had a blast. Fortunately, no speeding tickets. I told him this was a daily driver, so he supposedly tuned it conservatively. Lord help you if you tell him to do a aggressive tune.

Yeah, the torque steer is definitely more pronounced now. There was a police car cruising on Shawnee Mission Parkway, so everyone was plodding along slowly. When I turned onto the I-435 on-ramp, it was completely clear, so I jumped on it and only chirped the tires a little in second gear. I'm thinking WTF? Then I realized traction control was on, LOL.
Oh yeah, almost forgot. While cruising west on K-10, a Nissan Skyline passed me and then slowed down to let me catch up, we played tag a little, but never had a clear shot at running. Probably a good thing since state troopers patrol that section of road pretty regularly. This was the only time I've seen a Skyline up close.

Tonight was decent. I've got a headache and it got cold quick, so I only got one run in. Some pretty good other runs though. Saw some people I hadn't seen in years. Saw a guy lay down his CBR 600 trying to race Justin (stangkilr). That was at the launch.....after killing it twice. Although I did get a good race with a 05-09 GT stang. One dig, one roll. Dig he got me by about 2-3 cars from the start. Launching from 2500 I didn't get any traction. From a 30 roll, spun a little then grabbed 2nd and held a lead while he was at my bumper. Fun runs, but I doubt I'll be going out to any organized races again anytime soon.
