so bryan i don't know if i will be up saturday i was giving a friend a ride in the car and it had a really bad miss at 5000rpms in 2nd. i kind of ran a compression test but i don't think it was right #4 was 155 then we did it again and it poped and went to 170 then we did it again and it was 160. do you have any ideas? i don't know how to do a leak down.

same compression test gauge?
if so. do a test cold. test the cylinders three times. average them. then do a math equation to get the percentage difference between them all. jeremie would know the service limit. i don't, im just a monkey with a laptop.

yea it was the same gauge. but it was an old one that was in the back of someones car im going to use mine tonight. it's not smoking or running bad (yet) can it miss and still be ok?

it's not the magical rpm number. so you might be fine.
has your car ever hiccuped hard at "7k" rpms?
when the car is cold. pull the dip stick. feel for air comming out. no air, you're fine. pull the oil cap. excessive air comming out? blue smoke? nope? you're fine.

no i was at 5 to 6000 rpms this was the frist time it has ever happend i will do what you said and let you know how it turns out.

plugs look fine. so i did another pull and it was fine to 7000rpm's and i was thinking about it if i hit the rev limiter would it cut fuel there for make act like it missed. if that was the case im going to have someone kick me in the ball for being suce a bumbass.

yep, thats fine d00d. my daily driver mode is still on the 2.7
11.5 afr and 20 degree's total timing. the car has no ***** down low at the track. i pick up close to 25 mph on the back half
hoff. no flooding here

damn man thats crazy the tune i have right now has 23*of timming and when i went down the track i had a 12.0 tho 12.2 afr maybe that 109 is killing me hell i don't no.
