I don't what problems or issues you guy's are having with meth, but IMO meth is great it's another cooling mod ontop of raising you octane level so you can run more timing for more HP. I don't really see it beeing a pain just don't get a tiny ass tank.

 

Thats the issue, is it does nothing BUT cool. Like I said, for supercharged cars, it works well. For turbo cars, its much more efficient and cost friendly to run a bigger intercooler and higher octane fuel.

 

I get what your saying, but Q was talking about going supercharged and not turbo making meth a pretty good investment cuz like you said you can't just change your boost settings on a supercharger. And race fuel isn't exactly all that accessible unless you live right next door to a track.

 

i think for his power range he really doesnt need it. ive always had that opinion that anything that would be considered overkill is fine if you have the cash for it. its like people keep telling me my soon to come direct port setup is way overkill. do i care? no..... i want it.

 

I still think for a DD its unnecessary.

 

i track my dd and to be quite honest when i'm riding hard i push my car extremely hard. this little bitch has earned my respect. trust me meth for my build will not be in vain once i'm done. need to keep the blower cool for when you road race with the homies. 20-30mins on a chi-town run and you'll be heat soaked for sure. i stay in it once i get there.

 

something ill be doing is running the selectable tune using the open input that was found in the lnf ecu so that my meth will be controlled by that. since im doing a turbo swap it wont be a stock and performance tune..... one will be a more mild conserative tune to help with fuel economy and the other will be a ***** out tune. it will only be in use when my higher performance tune is on so that it doesnt go down the drain. idk if the 2.2 2.4 or lsj has an option like that though.

Meth injection on an M62 is amazing. Maybe for a turbo car it doesnt help much, but for IAT2s with out HEATON supercharger, theres no better solution than meth
