Yeah but if I were to do it I would bond pieces of metal from the back side intead of welding it. This way you wouldn't warp the meatl at all and need very little filler.
use a sand bag and a rubber or plastic hammer and just work the bend into it.

I live like 2 hours west of Chicago, but if you wanna make a road trip go right ahead, lol. I will be at WERKS on Wednesday doing a tune, if you are free Wed. Otherwise, I work tomorrow, and will be working on getting my balt running on tuesday.
