soo.. I was on my way home.. and a trailblazer SS pulled up next to me on the 53.. and the passenger put his hand out the window and gave me a thumbs down. haha. Well we did a 40 roll- about 100 i beat his ass.. haha.

 

Next meet is in the southern parts so start posting your ideas where it will be held......also do you guys want to try a weekend like saturday or sunday next or do a thursday or friday? how does everyone like furlongs for a nothern meet spot? thanks for everyone being really kool and cooperative at the meet. talk to you guys soon!

furlongs is awesome for the nothern part. for the southern part we could try TILTED KILT for the next meet! also for those of you who sat threw the presentation thanks again for your time and letting me do that! ALSO WTF!!!!!!!!!! SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Yeah, Furlongs is great. Bit of a drive for me, but not too horrible. Cruisin back home at 68mph (saw about 8 cops in 2 miles) I made it back in 2:10. The southern part will be much closer for me though if we could do something in Downer's Grove that would be amazing!

Dom, I hope all that works out good for you. I know a few people who work through Primerica, and I think my parents do some stuff through them.

Ok, this was the second meeting, anything to report/discuss about organization, rules, stickers, t-shirts, official name, fees/dues, or just a lot of eating and drinking?

 

There was discussion but matt will fill you in on that. But don't complain if yo don't like the club name and such. You gtg show up to the meetings to be a part of the deciding factor

 

there was discussion about a name, logos, rules, the only fees will be with logos and merch.....there will be more dicussion and so forth.

- meets will alternate every month as far as a place and day goes.
- logos will have multiple single colors and for those who wanted a dual there will be that option
- a name was decided
- website will go up soon
- LOGO DESIGNS NEEDED!!!!!!!

then of coarse there was a lot of eating and drinking and talking and such....but you know what this clubs abour friendship and everyone getting to know eachother. who cares if there is? the business got done so i dont see the big deal......

also ssblkbty im just going to put this out there since you seem like you have a lot to say about everything. you seem like you have a comment to make about a lot of different things. i dont know if your trying to be rude or if your trying to be a valid member and make points without the cocky attitude. yes a lot of us are young guns here but i think we should get the same amount of respect that im sure you expext from us. you want to have a lot of imput but yet ive yet to see you at a single meet. ok thats fine.....but it would be nice if everyone could here what you have to say so i think it would be a good idea if you showed up to say your thoughts rather then doing it behind the computer.

i find that you say you cant make it here on weekdays because of traffic yet zach drives 3 and 1/2 hours to get here and theres others that come from the city area aswell. ....ok so we try a friday night, and who knows the next meet is going to more then likely be on a saturday or sunday.....are you going to show up for that?

you said before i sound one minded but i've let everyone have their opinion. im sure you can ask anyone at the meets that i ask for everyones opinions and i let everyone speak and we held votes on every possible topic that i had to discuess. other then a day or meeting spot none of the voting will be held here on the internet because i think this club should revolve around the people that show up to meetings and actually speak their mind. last night we had a bigger turn out(25-30) then the first time and i think everyone had a great time. im sure everyone else agrees with me on this but i feel you should actually be there before making your little judgement calls

yeah that presentation was had some information that was good to know for the future. i would say lets do tilted kilt but i feel it would be just like hooters and be really loud and not enough seeting to get everyone together..... unless they have like private party rooms or something.

anyways i think furlongs was a pretty good idea on toms part for a north meet idea.....does anyone want to make that a permanet spot or should we try to find somewhere else?

 

Like I mentioned earlier, RAM is a great spot and we can reserve a private room.

But if Furlong's worked well, just keep it there and maybe down the road we can try some other place.

I don't have any suggestions for southern meet, but I assume it will be somewhere south by 355 and 55?

By the way, who is taking care of a website? I could probably host it on my hosting meanwhile as it won't cost us anything. I wouldn't mind helping setup up a forum, gallery, calendar, member list, or whatever else we would need.
