nope, ordering my tune today and i'm waiting on the boost gauge and gotta put bungs on the dp and oil pan, both of which will be done on thursday at AMS. after that i just gotta throw it all on.

 

Cool where you getting your tune from? We can do them at WERKS on the dyno if ya want.

 

trifecta tune of course. only tune available for the 06 2.2L...however i could still use some dyno time.

 

Oh yeah, i forgot HPT is lame and doesn't support the newer 2.2's. If you need time on the Dyno to have Vince finish it up, lemme know.

 

vince is very helpful when it comes to dynoing a car! he help me out when we did skurucs tune

 

quincy talk to dave over at performance autowerks......tell him the 2 matts with the cobalts sent you over and he will hook you up. nothing against ams or anything but they are over priced. ill be flat out honest. im surprised they are even doing any work on your car. i tried getting them to do work for the turbocharged cobalt and they denied it completely.

What all did ya need done again?

 

two bungs welded. one on the dp and one on the oil pan noiether of which are on the car. requires no work at all.

 

Q, I'll email him. Do you have both bungs that need welded, so there would only be labor needed?

 

i can get the o2 bung at autzone i have the oil pan bung.

 

Alright. We have the bungs too, I think they are like $5. I should have an email from Dave by the morning, and I quite certain we can beat that price... considering it would take no time at all to do it. Just a little cleanup of the oil pan, and that would prolly be the most time consuming part of it.

 

oil pan is brand new.

 

Beautiful! Still will have to wipe it down, but everything needs wiped down before welding. Even the oil from a fingerprint can upset the weld.
