yeah tom said we can do ced once a month with no issues. but thats a 45 minute hike for me and probablly about a 20-30 minutes from most of you schaumburg des plaines guys let along people south of me it would be quite a drive. ill put it on the suggestions list though.

 

I like the swap meet idea, I have a few things that I've been trying to get rid of for a while now.

 

Its once a month. Whats a 45 minute drive once a month? Its about 45 from me too. Just makes sense to me.

i dont mind the 45 minute drive once a month......the way i ment my post, is its 45 minutes from me and a lot farther for people south of me. some of those people say schaumburg is really far and thats only 20 min from me so you see what im saying. one other idea i just came up with is.......

what if we do an alternating meet spot. pick 2 places and alternate every month....one north and one south but have the same meeting day and time. whats everyone think of that? i can post reminders every time we have a meeting.

I live like 2 1/2 hrs minimum from the meeting spots so I don't want to hear complaining about 45mins haha. I will make the trip once a month every month without issue though . I like to be dedicated to things like this and help out as much as I can.

 

looking to see where this meet issue goes. i got no grief with riding out an hour away and all but i'm not interested in losing money to do this. what time would ced be and on what day? i'm sure many of us work the weekends as well as the work day. this needs to work for everybody or there's no point in everybody joining.

 

yeah some people are willing to drive more then others. idc about the drive really. i thnk we should do hooters depending on where the vote goes for this month. wherever it ends up....example: if it ends up at schaumburg then we meet in downers grove next month. im all about making this work for everyone and i see an alternating meet spot every other month so suit both the northern crowd and the southern crowd. any takers on the alternating meet?

 

i suggest TILTED KILT out in woodridge for the southsiders when we meet up everyother month. this place is just like hooters but better and they have better food. anytakers

 

idk abut tilted kilt i wanna go there so bad but the gf doesnt want me going there because of well you know!

We could always do a Dave and Busters meet in addison. Big parking lot lots of pool tables and games can't go wrong asside from having to deal with a couple of kids once in a while.
