Private Stock is the rum for me. Is everyone 21+? I don't wanna leave someone sitting in a hotel room if we end up at the Dark Horse or something.

 

im old, so being over 21 is good. just not when i tell 18 year old girls my age.

going out is fine, or we can get tanked in the lot. thats what we did last year at the grand prix meet.

i have a bottle of malibu, chillin in my basement. im not a big drinker. so you don't have to worry about me. also, this meet is not to get tanked and stupid. i don't condone drinking, but keep it down. i would like to be allowed back into the city of blue springs.

 

Not everyone going is over 21... Like me, and the guy I'm bringing along. Unless I find someone else. I bet there are at least a couple others...

 

I'm not suggesting that we ditch anyone under 21. I was just gonna figure out some drink specials :P.

So... I'm crazy excited to meet some speed freaks from the KC area. Especially you guys that can throw down a tune. Let me ask you this... What can you do for me that the GM Stage 2 re-flash can't? I can turn a wrench with the best of them but I've never had experience with tuning.

 

depends on the year of car really.

i more or less make it safer then gm could. gm does a blanket tune. i just go in an make it better for our area. i can make it run on 87 octane, or make it run on 110 all the time. depends on the end user. i however, make it safe to a degree. i can't take out captain retard who wants to do 150 mph bursts back to back. that will eat the motor. i myself, will not give out my personal tune, because there is more work in those then the average bear.

 

And you certainly aren't the "AVERAGE" bear! I can speak for myself Area's tunes are very good, and he knows what he is doing!

My Balt is a 2007 SS/SC. See signature for mods. As long as it doesn't throw codes or blow my motor and is better than the blanket tune from GM I'm interested. Money isn't an issue either. As far as octane... Whatever the highest octane I can get without getting crazy in the KC/Lawrence area. Also... If you recommend any mods I could/should install before the meet I'm all ears. I can only research so fast here at the dealership.

 

You can get 93 down there, I believe... just about anywhere! Goddammit, why can't we have 93 here!

 

i do the ecm tinkering for 91 octane. since it's everywhere here in kc, thats what i go with.

stage 2 is set up for 94 octane. not good. since the national average is 91. just come up on 91 octane and it will be good. anything higher then this will be good too for when you get back to where ever

 

Wow 94 eh? Thats odd. I seam to remember seeing 93 octane around, like M-Dub said, so I'll prolly be rolling in on that. Any other mods you might suggest?

 

not really. if you plan on keeping it like it is, i can tinker with it from there. aside from that. it really comes down to how far you want to go with it
