Damn, I live like 10 mins from there but I don't even have my SS up here in the lou with me. I am picking it up Saturday from the dealership. I called then today and they had just brought it back from a road test. The Stage 2 Kit is installed and everything is on point. I am Stage 2'd. Oh Yeah, I can't wait to pick it Saturday Morning! But hopefully the weather just keeps getting nicer and we can roll out next week sometime. I need to run Mike again in the red SS/SC and see how my car holds up with my stage 2 on it.

I saw some where on line a 2.8 that was stamped GM 3.0, that way you didn't have to take off the pulley to get warranty work done. But I can not find it again. Have you seen that or know about that pulley?

"This 2.79" pulley will fit the GM Stage 2 hub - It is made out of 6061 Billet Aluminum and Hard Anodized for wear resistance - There is 77.9 MM engraved on the face making it look like the stock 3" GM Pulley - It is CNC machine to 0.001" accuracy and designed to withstand high RPM - The side walls of the pulley are 77.9MM or 3” in diameter - The top of the groove has a diameter of 2.79” . These have been proven to run great on the GM stage 2 reflash as it is very rich fuel wise to start with and this will bring you right into the correct AFR . Will bump you up to 17.5psi !!!!!
Your Price: $69.99 USD + $9.99 Shipping"
This was taken from www.Cobalt-Addiction.com (then click pulleys, and its the first one)
Its up to you if you want to use it with the Stage 2 tune, but even though they say you can, I would HIGHLY recommend you get your car tuned running that pully, but its up to you. I would personally go no smaller than a 2.9 with the Stage 2 tune, and you can get one of those for a decent price, if you dont want the tuning.
Just my opinion,
Aj

Thats not as bad as I thought it would be. All I know is Lucas, you'll win. But your lucky you got stage 2 on. Wish I could afford a tune right now. Gets expensive

Not to be a dick but Stage 2 cars are terds, a stage II car with intake/exhaust only pulled on dells stock redline by 2-3 cars at most by 100mph, i was riding with him....GM rips people off so bad with that POS setup, i think its its like 235-240whp, **** my car made 226whp stock, hehe. A custom setup is the way to go, **** your warranty, its not worth keeping if you want to go fast.

I was going to go Stage 2 for a long time, then did some research...
Stage 2 if you get if for a good price: $550 + Shipping (CED)
Dealership install Stage 2 for you: $300-$400 (depending on dealer)
Total: $850-$950
MPS + any size pully (Smoothflow): $95 shipped (machined) or $100 shipped (polished)
One step colder spark plugs: ~$20 (anywhere) New Era Performance has them for $16.90 shipped
GM Stage 2 belt: $50 (Cobalt-Addiction has it for <$50 shipped)
Sieman Deka Flowmatched 60#/hr injectors and harness: $250.30 shipped from New Era Performance
Tuning: Free-$500 depending on where you live, and who does it, or if you do it.
Ill just say for adding pourpose that tuning costs $300.
Total: $420 + ~$300 for tuning = $720 + a lot faster car (most likely)
This is just the main stuff too, I would of course recommend a full exhaust and intake, as well as some sort of cooling mod with any smaller pully, but this stuff you would have to do with either path you choose, so I didnt include it in the cost.
This is all just personal opinion and from my own research, there are many ways to do everything.

Shut up Mike... I have no clue what is going on with my car. Every day something new with Evap comes on. I told the guy what was wrong with it because I ran the code before I went up there but he said that couldnt be right. Oh well, cars fixed like always and ur dealer did a good job. Got me in right away and out quick
