Does anyone know someone that tunes that could take a look at my car for me just to diagnose a DTC code, for free would be great. I don't have money to have a tune done, just want to help figure out why I get an intermittent check engine code for a random misfire and the idle sounds bumpy like a Subaru every now and then. It happens maybe once a month or so.

Getting into diagnostics, gets expensive; even worse with modified vehicles
I charge 50$ per hour mechanical labor, 100$ per hour diagnostic labor.
does it do it when cold? hot? get access to a proper scan tool, watch cyl misfires.
It could be anything from a cracked plug, coil, leaking headgasket, sticky injectors, some crap in gas, injector pigtail loose connection, ect.
or because its modified, the p0300 code just hits. When I got tuned, p0300 was set and we deleted it quick
But I would get in touch with P&P, best around!

small cruise on the 18th as long as weather holds out.
Starts in SOCO
down to old 21-->H-->A-->T-->185-->Sullivan
then back either same route or another one
pretty much just a couple buddies but more are welcome. Its gonna be a get away from everything and cruise and hang out, no stupidity

Nick Verbatim is a good guy and the recommendation of P&P tuning is a good one. One of the best tuners around and a damn good guy as well. you might of seen P&P's turbo cavi a couple of times (helluva 2.2 cavi)
Id recommend both of these guys hands down.

Anyone know anywhere in STL or near that would have a hood? I can't find a single hood anywhere, been calling junkyards and they all want 400 for a brand new one. Id rather body fill the hail damage then spend 400 and still paint it..
