I will be coming from Connecticut, and will need to drive through NY to get there. Where will you be coming from in NY? A buddy of mine with be coming from the Gardiner area. Which is near Poughkeepsie. Also, check out the gmtunerbash.com forums and see who else will be coming from there. You will find more than enough information on who is coming from NY. There is a whole NY caravan, if you are interested.

here you guys go http://www.j-body.org/fourms/read.ph...=18262&t=18262 there are about 80 cars comming so far. And to answer the ? why Tim is not doing it this year, couple of reasons funding and he started his family last year. Also Paul is running it this year. And for those of you that think it a long trip the crazy Linko from J-body is going to make it this year and he lives in Canada near Oregon he will have a 2 day trip to Ohio. when he came to the GM small car bash in 05 he had close to 30hrs one way. also here is a link to the actual bash site for those that are interested.

If any of you guys are comming through Indiana we've got about 15 to 20 of us meeting up in Indy and in Ft. Wayne before we head over to Mansfield

Well, I'm sure we should be able to get a decent contingent from the Pittsburgh area Cobalts / Ions to come out, but we'll see.

I'll have to bring it up at the next board meeting.

They are talking about hoping for atleast 10 cars, maybe 20-30.....

Let's show them more! Shoot, just from us dayton area balts there is 5-6 and one redline going. That's half their wish.

wow, it took me forever to get here! Stupid confirmation email never sent and my account never activated haha.

ANYWAYS!

Yes, the event will be well over 100 cars. The J bash has been as large as 600 cars before, and that is a site to see, 600 other enthusiasts, just like you!

It was formerly the Jbash, but that was different staff, different times. I'm opening this up to ALL GM Tuner Cars. So cobalts, ions, solstice, sky, Saturn S series, grand am, grand prix, cav, sunfire. If its made by GM and has a 4 or 6 cyl, its welcome to show with full support from the event for classing.

I am working on getting registration open right now, which is contingent with getting T shirt designs done. I'm hoping for registration to open here in the next couple weeks, so we can have a FOR SURE number of who's coming. With talks right now, I suspect 250 cars or so.

Those of you coming from cali or far out west. DEFINITELY try to travel in packs. For one, its WAY more fun. Honestly, I'd rather have a long haul in a caravan then live next to the event like I do. Half the memories come in caravaning! Lenko will likely have a following from Vancouver, so depending on the routes you guys take, maybe you 2 could converge for one big ass western caravan.

Personally, I was hoping for 20-30 cobalts.....but from the looks of things here, you guys are gonna smoke that! Thats really exciting! Email me if you have any questions, or stop by our website. http://www.gmtunerbash.com

LOOK FORWARD TO MEETING YOU ALL!!!

For those of you here who were never in the J-body scene and havn't done the J-bash thing... this thing is pretty huge. sometimes over 500 J-bodies at some of these events. the J group is diminishing now, but when you consider how many deltas can/will start going now, along with the Js that are still around, it'll still get pretty big pretty fast. its an all out party all weekend, so get your hotel room booked soon, they go quickly. The J guys are already filling up the host hotel because they know how hard it is to find a room once summer hits. as far as distance... trust me its worth it. And the caravans are half the fun... or more. Caravans will get set up and for some of you guys going a long way, you might end up with 50 or more in your caravan alone. Good times.
