We were talking at the meet about the SRT10 that rolled over on Youtube. Here's the link to it.

Also, the one I mentioned that was cammed and loud as hell.

My favorite cammed car on Youtube. Untuned GTO LS2. Poor neighbors.

Enjoy.

Yea I've seen that angle before. There were like 3 or 4 people videotaping him doing that cuz it was Mustang Week wherever they were. Such an idiot.

We installed the Innovate Wide band last night and it reads from 7.4 to 21.8.
It was a pain to install, lots of wires....

All I have to do today is get the bung welded into the exhaust and see just how rich this Mini is.
Then dial down the A/F into the power range.
I am still baffled that the stock fuel system was at 10.0 (and it may be richer).
With the stock pump, f/i & fpr we have 60 psi of fuel at idle.

We drilled a small hole into 180 t-stat & removed the 195, checked for leaks, ok.
Then we checked the fuel system for leaks at the new mech fuel press gauge. ok.

I also removed the stock plastic grommets that hold the main wire harness to the firewall and install insulated clamps that I bought from Summit Racing, man do they make it look nice.
I will take some pictures today and post up.

Let's see 'em!

Alright guys. My clutch is slipping in the middle of 3rd gear and the middle of 4th. Which clutch should I get? I'm thinking the hypersingle or the spec 3+.

hunter what do you future mods and plans look like. I say hypersingle or something more along the lines of a 2+ spec or a stage 2 or three clutchmasters if you dont plan on going big turbo or anything.

Yikes. Mine is still down waiting for the new wheel bearing hub thing. I've heard Spec has horrible customer service, but if you get a good part the first time, no worries. Then again, I think most companies in the CSS community have bad customer service.

It sucks so bad going from a 2.5 5-speed sport sedan to a lumbering 4x4 4L Cherokee "Sport". There's nothing sporty about that hunk of junk. I can't wait to have my car up and running again.

Eventually, I may switch to a bigger turbo, but not in the near future. I will be putting on an intake when I decide on which one(just waiting on the guinea pigs to test out the K&n and the vararam when it comes out). I might be increasing my boost a little more too. Is the spec3+ not as driveable as the hypersingle?

How many miles do you have on the exedy?

P.s. I have MBI through Geico, I wonder if they'll cover it?

hunter I am not sure on the spec, but my clutchmaster stage 4 is pretty close to stock. Take off is a little harder, but not to bad.

I just took the Ion out for a test drive after seafoaming it. I guess there was still enough in the gas cuz it smoked the hell out of uptown. I got pulled over cuz the cop heard me squeal tires, but thought my car was on fire. I got away with a verbal warning on how not to drive into town like that and to leave traction control ON inside city limits. hehehe. It seems to be nearly clean at this point and it runs a lot better on takeoff.

We are going to be installing an AFPR this Saturday. Then we will slowing turning the fuel pressure down. The boost is already at 14 psi with cast pistons and I do NOT want to push my luck. I melted a piston at 18 psi in one of my other Mini Vans.

I am just amazed that my a/f was this far off from the factory.

They forgot to email me, but I found the tracking number and it left Groveport earlier today, so it should arrive by 2pm tomorrow. That's generally when the FedEx and UPS guys arrive.

UPS and FedEx don't normally deliver on Sat. I'm off on Monday if you would like to work on it then.
