So I was definitely driving up I-75 N and somewhere right before the Rochester exit, to my dismay I saw a black 08 SS/TC parked on the shoulder with it's emergency flashers on... Still had all of the transport tape, and styrofoam buffers on it...

Maybe it was a sign for me not to get the SS/TC when I turn in my SS/SC...

Guess I gotta get a Solstice GXP Coupe...

But jw if anyone in Mi is ordering a black SS/TC... I may have seen it on the side of the road...

just because you saw it on the shoulder w/ it's emergency lights on doesn't mean it broke down or something. maybe the owner really needed to pull over at that moment. could have gotten a flat, got car sick, maybe spilled something, etc.

this shouldn't discourage you in getting the car. ****, i've seen vettes pulled over on the shoulder w/ it's hood open. that still doesn't discourage me in someday owning one.

yeah, i havent seen any murcielagos pulled over. I dont care if they were all pulled over with their flashers on...i still want one

I take 75N/75S everyday from 696 to 59 and while sometimes I'm stopped and not moving its never been the cars fault

Oh yeah true, it doesn't mean it was the car that was broken down... Could have been any of the reasons above mentioned... And yeah I want a Vette too and if I saw one on the side of the rode I still want one.. Well whatever the reason just reporting what I saw...

It was most likely stolen from a transport truck on the way to a dealership. He finally got it off the truck and was fueling it up with his gas can. Free SS/TC for the win!

Haha, yeah that could have been it... Well when I leased my SS/SC the dealer I went to didn't have one so they did a dealer trade. And yeah they had an employee drive it from the Chevy dealer in Troy, to the dealer over in Ypsilanti where I got it from... My guess is that's what was going on with this too. Again it still had all the transport tape and foam on it...

i have an 08 ss/tc and coiuldnt be happier w it dont let that discourage you, the only prob is that if you want one youll have to wait for the 09's gm is no longer taking orders on the 08 ss as of may 15 the got to many orders for the xfe and the ss so they had to say enough and try to complete the orders they already had

Any other little thing besides the "new shiny" 08 TC breaking down that could cause a human being in this crazy lil world of ours to pull off the side of the road.

I have pulled off the side of the road more then a handfull of times for **** totally unrelated to auto trouble.


Honestly this is how u think "OMG OMG OMG OMG THAT SS IS ON SIDE OF ROAD, NOW I CANNOT BUY ONE CUZ THEY R TOTALLY THE SUXORZ"? thats how it comes off when you whine about something as vauge as this per se.
