Looking to set this up for either April 30 or May 7 (both of which are Saturdays). Need to see if there's interest in either of these days. I know the 14th is the spring meet so that weekend is obviously out.

As always, all cars are welcome, $50 for 3 pulls, wideband reading is $10 extra. and excessive time spent on the dyno will be surcharged at BigShot's discretion. BigShot has a DynoJet dyno with lift.

Myself as well as other tuners will be present to help with any issues that may arise or to offer our tuning services.

Well its either going to make big power or no power at all lol. The tranny wont make it for long prolly.

 

Ha my car is at their garage as we speak. I live right down the road. They are working on my pcm and getting it tuned. They said they would run it as well. Good guys good company.

May 7th may be tough for me because I have my last final on the 6th. Not sure if the 30th will be any better tho really. I guess we will see.

 

Bill, When did you put down that 287.4 whp in your sig? Or is that a calculated est?

 

I'd be in for the 7th if I can get the day off. That's assuming my little Mazda gets to pull this year for the price. Haha. If not, I'll just cruise up and hang out.

 

thats calculated the difference between both our top runs at RDP vs your base run at bigshot a few weeks later.

i took the same ratio and applied it to my car.

IMO thats a bit optimistic, but I think we can get it there on the current mods =)

it does seem optomistic, but if you consider on the RDP dyno i ran 242 and you ran 249 so i applied the ratio. no i cant remember what you baseline run was, but ill use the math to figure it out:

if X is equal to your baseline run at bigshot dyno
242/287.4 = 249/X
287.4*249 = 71562.6
71562.6 / 242 = X
X = 295.71

therefore:
242 my top run at RDP should equal a baseline run at bigshot of 287.4
or 118.76% of 242, or 18.76% difference.

Last time I ran at Bigshot, my highest whp was 290 and my wtq was 350. Since then I put on a K&N sri, switched to a catless dp, and changed my stock ic to a zzp ic. Like to see my whp go above 300. I would like to see at least 315whp.

Speaking of flying to PA....is anyone (and by anyone I mean you) familiar with combo tunes? Have you ever tuned over a Trifecta tune?

 

Me and Hunter were gonna work with it, once I get some cash here Im gonna try and meet up with him and do some work with it. If my dude wants to well just buy it like we did HPT.

I am interested for the day in may. but if I can't fix my stupid cps sensor problem, I won't be going anywhere. its so embarrassing having to crank my car over 10 times before it will start :'( oh yeah, I'm gonna need a tune lol.
